Black-owned businesses account for less than 3% of all businesses in America. For many years black entrepreneurs have faced systematic exclusion, suppression, and exposure that many of their counterparts have freely been given. Developing opportunities and marketplaces that exclusively help to change this narrative for many black business owners is not only beneficial to black entrepreneurs but it is critically important for the overall community.

Three black women and moms (Erin Coleman, Jessica Johnson, and April Williams) joined forces to create a space for black creatives to sell their products online. Collectively, the women have backgrounds in finance, entrepreneurship, marketing, social media, communication, organizational leadership, and business. As a team, the women have used their influence to launch, connect, and support black-owned businesses with a wide range of consumers.
