Safi was birthed from a vision to create a space where black creators could flourish and expand their market. We believe that black creativity is a force to be reckoned with, and we are committed to providing a platform where black creators can share their unique talents with the world. Our marketplace allows black entrepreneurs to connect to a larger audience and features curated creators who have also made a mark in their respective industries.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower black creators and help them achieve their business goals. We do this by providing a variety of resources and services, including:
A curated marketplace where black creators can sell their products and services
Marketing and advertising support to help black creators reach a wider audience
Business development workshops and networking opportunities to help black creators grow their businesses

Black-owned businesses account for less than 3% of all businesses in America. For many years black entrepreneurs have faced systematic exclusion, suppression, and exposure that many of their counterparts have freely been given. Developing opportunities and marketplaces that exclusively help to change this narrative for many black business owners is not only beneficial to black entrepreneurs but it is critically important for the overall community.

Our Impact
Since our inception, Safi has helped black creators reach a wider audience and grow their businesses. We are proud to be a part of the growing movement of black-owned businesses that are changing the world.
SHAPING THE NARRATIVE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
Three black women and moms (Erin Coleman, Jessica Johnson, and April Williams) joined forces to create a space for black creatives to sell their products online. Collectively, the women have backgrounds in finance, entrepreneurship, marketing, social media, communication, organizational leadership, and business. As a team, the women have used their influence to launch, connect, and support black-owned businesses with a wide range of consumers.
